Petiteknit's Amy Sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. The first part of the yoke is worked flat, back and forth, to shape the neckline. Then the work is joined in the round, so the rest of the yoke can be worked in the round and shaped with raglan increases. The sleeves and hem of the body are finished with wide ribbed edges followed by a small roll-over edge worked in stockinette stitch. The turtleneck collar is worked at the end, from stitches that are picked up and knitted around the neck opening.
