  • Streling [Knitting Pattern - PDF]

Streling is a rectangle shawl with ample width and length. Design by Evgeniya Dupliy, especially for Rosy Green Cheeky Merino Joy, is a combination of broad stripes in a stocking stitch, and a simple slipped rib stitch that is enjoyable to knit. Soft, warm, and beautiful drape, Streling offers many wearing options, regardless of your age or gender.

With an easy to remember repeat, Streling is great for beginners or advanced knitters looking for a relaxing knit. Knitted flat from one end to the other and starting with a few rows of a rib stitch, the shawl is worked in stripes alternating 1x1 half slipped ribbing and stocking stitch. The wrap is finished with another rib stitch section. A two stitch i-cord obtains the clean and sophisticated long edges. This knitting project can easily be adapted to your desired length and width by repeating or omitting sections.
