    Onion Nettle Sock Yarn

Onion Nettle Sock is a fingering weight yarn made from merino wool and nettle fibres. Combining these two fibres creates a yarn with the most beautiful stitch definition. As it knits up to a standard fingering weight gauge, making it excellent for many projects, including socks, garments and shawls. As nettle is a plant-based fibre, it dyes differently from wool, giving you a lovely heathered marled effect.

Using nettles instead of synthetic fibres such as Nylon adds strength and durability without the environmental impact of using a non-renewable resource.

You'll need two balls of Onion Nettle Sock to knit an average pair of women's socks in 38 (size 5).
