    May Yndi become your new favourite hat? Not only does it have an exceptionally beautiful texture, but also a modern, timeless shape that makes it popular with adults and teenagers alike. It has been designed by Teti Lutsak for Rosy Green, Cheeky Merino Joy in the colour Melange Pure - a yarn which makes it feel so soft that you won't want to take it off. The pattern includes a shorter and a longer version so you can decide how far you want to fold the hem. Whether you want a tighter fit in a beanie style or a more upright and pointed look - Yndi can easily be adjusted to your wishes.

    Yndi is easy to knit but doesn't look like it - due to its sophisticated, unusual rib pattern. The design is ideal for beginners and for anyone who wants to try out an exciting ribbing technique. The hat in three sizes and starts with a long-tail cast-on and is knitted in the round from bottom to top. A classic 1x1 rib is combined with slipped stitches for the texture pattern. Simple decreases shape the crown of the hat.

    Size:  S (M, L)

    Measurements: to fit head circumferences of 46-51 [51-56, 56-61] cm (18-20 [20-22, 22-24] in).

    Yarn: Rosy Green Wool - Cheeky Merino Joy (100% softest organic Merino) 320 m 1 (1, 1) skein

    Needles: 3 mm (US 2.5) 40 cm (16 in) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

    Notions: stitch marker and a darning needle.

    Gauge: 30 sts x 40 rnds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) over textured rib pattern with 3 mm (US 2.5) needles after blocking
