Zimtstern by Melanie Berg is a top-down triangle shawl, designed to capture the rich cinnamon and sparkling sugar of those delicious star-shaped German cookies. It was knit in gorgeous autumnal shades of Cheeky Merino Joy by Rosy Green Wool in Tea, Cream, Lava and Terra.

Zimtstern combines garter stitch, stripes and an eyecatching mosaic panel that looks more complicated than it is. The shawl is finally finished off with a pleated border that gives the finished shawl a pop of colour.
